Texas Rx Card, powered by United Networks of America, Presents Donation to Driscoll Children’s Hospital

On June 10th, 2018, Julie Rios, Texas Rx Card representative, presented a check to Driscoll Children’s Hospital.  Richard Harris, administrator, was pleased to receive the check donation in the amount of $2,351.55.

This presentation was done as part of the hospital’s telethon and Julie was allowed to participate in the telethon.  Driscoll Children’s Hospital will continue to work with Texas Rx Card to raise awareness for the partnership with Texas Rx Card and how processing a prescription through Texas Rx Card will help raise donations for your local CMN hospital.  You can save on your prescriptions by asking your pharmacist to process the transaction through the Texas Rx Card.

Since 2015, the United Networks of America partnership with Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals has raised over $2.4 million dollars for local children’s hospitals. Of this, $2,351.55 has been raised for Driscoll Children’s Hospital.

Courtney Knox & Mario Ybarra, Texas Rx Card Representatives, presented a check to The Children’s Hospital of San Antonio Foundation, CHRISTUS Health. Ms. Rhonda Thompson, Chief Nursing Officer, The Children’s Hospital of San Antonio, and Mr. Terry Kyle, Vice President, The Children’s Hospital of San Antonio Foundation, were pleased to receive the check donation in the amount of $6,289.15.

Following the presentation, Courtney & Mario were given a tour of the hospital by Gracie Martinez, Director, Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals.   This donation is made possible through the Texas Rx Card prescription savings program.  A donation is made to your local Texas CMN hospital each time a prescription is processed through the Texas Rx Card.

Texas Rx Card Presents Donation to CHRISTUS Southeast Texas Foundation

On June 25th, Courtney Knox, Texas Rx Card Representative, presented a check to CHRISTUS Southeast Texas Foundation.  Melissa Conley (left) Program Manager, and Ivy Pate (right), Regional Vice President, were pleased to receive the check donation in the amount of $818.90.

After the presentation, Courtney was given a tour of the hospital, including the newly updated NICU.  Melissa & Ivy invited Courtney to participate in a call-in interview to be played during a November radio fundraiser.  CHRISTUS Southeast Texas-St. Elizabeth and Texas Rx Card will continue to work together to raise awareness of the Texas Rx Card and the CMN relationship.   A donation will be made to your local CMN hospital each time a prescription is processed using the Texas Rx Card.  We are excited to be a supporter of CHRISTUS Southeast Texas-St. Elizabeth and all the patients they help.

On June 22nd, Courtney Knox, Texas Rx Card Representative, presented a check to Baylor Scott & White McLane Children’s Medical Center.  Jennifer Williams, Senior Foundation Officer, was pleased to receive the check donation in the amount of $2,067.20.

Following the presentation, Courtney was given a tour of the hospital. Courtney and Jennifer discussed ways to continue working together to raise awareness for the Texas Rx Card and CMN relationship and increase donations to McLane Children’s Medical Center. A donation will be made to your local CMN hospital each time a prescription is processed using the Texas Rx Card.

On June 21st Courtney Knox, Texas Rx Card Representative, presented a check to Dell Children’s Medical Center of Central Texas.  Megan Campuzano, Senior Director of Development, was pleased to receive the check donation in the amount of $9,638.65.

After the presentation, Courtney was given a tour of the hospital, including the unique Butterfly Wall.  Courtney and Megan discussed ways to collaborate in order to raise awareness for the Texas Rx Card and CMN relationship and to increase donations to the hospital.   A donation will be made to your local CMN hospital each time a prescription is processed using the Texas Rx Card.
